Richard Barrett--Develops Customer Relationships that result in Sales

Richard Barrett, the creator of One-to-One, has led teams in technology development, sales, and marketing for over twenty years with the knowledge that sales and services are driven by personal relationships, built on trust, over time. He has built sales organizations for software systems, hardware products, and services, selling to Fortune 500 companies such as Hewlett Packard, H.J.Heinz, Compaq, AT&T, and Seagate. Richard also has extensive experience with emerging companies. As President of Mobileforce Technologies, he delivered systems for field workforce operations, focusing on telecomm and cable company delivery teams. He served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for two start-up companies -- Vinca and Nucleus -- in the fields of network stora ge and database management, introducing products that captured market segment leadership and won industry awards. He co-founded Adaptive Data Systems, which pioneered the Small Computer Systems Interface (SCSI) standard.

Richard has written and published five books, many professional papers in technical journals, and numerous articles in trade magazines. He holds MEE (1975) and BSEE (1974) degrees from Rice University.

Karen Glaesemann--Creates Unique Customer Experiences

Since 1996, Karen has been designing websites and webmastering in academic and industrial settings. Trained in graphic design by her mother who holds a degree in Fine Art, line and color are a part of every effect along with well chosen words. Karen has spent a fair amount of time in every job she has held designing brochures and graphics for presentations and trade shows. Karen holds a BS in Chemistry with coursework in technical writing and computer programming. Karen has worked in a variety of office settings, in several laboratories, and as an operations manager in the agriculture industry with responsibilities ranging from LIMS administration to laboratory operation. Mark earned his B.S. and M.S. in engineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana campus. He broadened his educational background by earning an M.B.A. from the Claremont Graduate University and sharpened his IT skills while completing an M.S. in Applied Computer Science at Azusa Pacific University. Mark has published work on the subject of customer information portals and teaches database management courses at University of Phoenix.
